Cinema Saturday Challenge #16

I have seen these challenges posted on other people blogs before but I have never really had a look at the Cinema Saturday Blog before, and I wasn't sure of the rules etc. Today I saw an entry and the movie inspiration is from Wizard of Oz which is way up there on my All Time Fav Movies List, and I think my creative juices were flowing today with all of the hot weather so I gave it a go. I think I am too late to enter but oh well, I had fun any way, and I have been doing heaps of punch work lately too, so it all fitted in nicely. Here is my card:I love these 3 fellows. I think we all have a tin man, scarecrow & lion is our lives at some point, as well as a wicked witch, but these three buddies make me smile and so I thought "Hey, they deserve a card of their own!" The tin man and scarecrow look a little bit weird and the lion looks high on life rather than cowardly but lets face it, I am working with paper! It is not that easy, and my husband knew who they were supposed to be so that is saying something! I made this card quite a few hours ago, but we lost power again, right at the girls bed time so the house got way to hot for them to sleep. We all ended up outside (where it has cooled down at last) having a big game of street cricket until it got dark. It was pretty cool in the end, if the power had not have gone out all of the kids in our street would have been inside watching TV, or on the X box or something. Anyway, TFL, hope you have a great weekend!

This card is the best Leonie! I've looked at most of the entries this week (at least I think I have...I was interrupted by children climbing over me about 5 times) and yours is my absolute fav. So cute and fun. You've done a lovely job.

Best wishes,
Sam.

I think what you can do with punches is beyond comprehension sometimes - WOW - these are fabulous - both the idea AND the execution!!!

Welcome to the Cinema Saturday family! We are so glad you came to play with us.. Way to ROCK the challenge on your first time out.... You are so very clever with the punches... I have to say it's always great when our DH's get what we are doing and we don't have to explain...

Stop by tomorrow for another great movie..
Hugs
Brooke
