Best Witches

I made this card before Christmas I think, but I had to wait to post it because it was for my good friend Philippa's birthday, which was yesterday.I saw this little witchy back around Halloween time on Karen Thomas blog and I knew this card would be perfect for Phil as she loves all things "supernatural". I used the large oval punch for her head, small oval punch for her hat, and cut the triangle shapes for her hat and nose. I punched the circles for the eyes using the cropodile, and some scallop punching, twill and hodge podge for decoration. I used a black marker to write the sentiment on, which says "To my witchy friend on her birthday" as well as to do the eyebrows and mouth. Her hair is made from frayed black ribbon. Philippa is nuts for browns & teal colors, so I used those as the main colors in the card. Thank you to Karen for sharing this cute idea (I get a lot of inspiration from this blog), and Happy Birthday to Philippa, hope all of your birthday wishes come true!

Thank you dear friend for my lovely card and present. I'm just about to pop it on my blog and show it off. Got to love a good witch. Now if only I could make an Edward card and I will save it for your birthday.
