I have recently acquired the Manhattan Flower Embossing Die and have been having some fun rolling through my machine! I have been admiring cards made with this die for way too long, and was so over whelmed when it arrived, I couldn't really think of anything particularly fabulous to do with it, but here is what I came up with anyway!
This first one is just using old olive & whisper white. The little leaves are the vine from the bird punch. The next one is cameo coral & ruby red (again, trying to use up retiring stock - there is a great reason why some of these colours are retiring...very hard to use!) I used the sentiment out of the cottage garden set.
I quite liked this next one in mellow moss & always artichoke. I coupled it with the fresh cuts set too. I think I may have seen something like this before on SCS, but I cant seem to find it, so maybe I just came up with it on my own? Who knows? After I embossed the mellow moss card stock, I squished it with my moss ink pad to get this effect, I quite like it!
And this last one, which is my favourite I think in Mellow Moss and Whisper White. I will miss that mellow moss ribbon very much when it retires!
