Girly Challenge

Cupcake Craft Challenges have a "Girly" challenge and I thought what could be more girly than a couple of scrap pages about me and my girl, Logan:
I am quite a novice when it comes to scrapping, so I try to keep it simple. This is the first time I have used so many photos, usually I keep it to one or two, so it was quite a challenge to get them all in there, but overall, I am happy with the result. The actual colours are barely banana and regal rose, the sunshine has washed out my pictures a bit!
I have joined up the stamp from stem sayings that say "I made a wish and you came true!" which is so true when I think about my girls. I always wanted a daughter, and I felt like all my wishes came true at once when Logan was born (and doubly so when Matilda joined us 2 years later). I am trying to make a scrap book for Logan's first five years. I think I have done about six pages...getting there very slowly! lol!

Very cool love. These are great seeing you with Logan when she was so little. Great job on the LO. I am having the same issues with too many photo's on one page. Yours looks great.

Look at that! I leave you alone for a couple of days and your creative juices visit. You are certainly on a roll. Love your cards below and your scrap pages are fantastic. It's our babies that make them even more special.

Gee you have been busy Leonie! I love your scrap layouts and your cards also. I am doing a little catch up because I haven't had much time to blog surf lately but I must say that bird card is just gorgeous.

I want not agree on it. I think warm-hearted post. Particularly the appellation attracted me to read the whole story.

So cute Leonie. What a treat to see you and Logan through the years. I'm sure she loves it too. I remember when I got married my mother gave me a basket filled with things from my childhood and I can't tell you how important those things are, especially the pictures. They truly are priceless!

Where are you? Rather where are your cards? Thanks for the take on my cabbages, obviously not a success! I am enjoying Tennis in Australia again! How time flies. Take care, I do not have my wonderful Colorado scenery to give me inspiration so I seem to stay in a funk! LOL!
