Ahhh, coffee and friends

One of my favorite combinations! I really wanted to make this card look rich, and I think I succeeded. A good coffee deserves a rich looking background don't you think? I have used close to cocoa & creamy caramel cs with a bit of basic black too. The top is very lightly wheeled with So Swirly, and the bottom with Friendly Words. I got the idea from Marelle Taylor for the sentiment, which is just perfect for this card. Once I wheeled the bottom, without cleaning the excess ink, I used a marker to color the sentiment off the wheel that I wanted and rolled it onto some scrap cardstock, then simply punched it out, so you get some really faded words in the background. Everything has been sponged with creamy caramel & cocoa inks, and I just added a little strip of eyelet punched black cardstock and some ribbon for embellishment! I love this card! It reminds me of all the good coffee and chats I have with my girlfriends!
