Cheers Big Ears!

May is a big month for birthday's in our family. This weekend is our Cousin Adem's 18th birthday. I am sure he just turned 13 and started high school yesterday, where do the years go? Anyway, he is 18 and here is the card I made him.I loved this "Cheers to you" stamp set the moment I saw it but I have had trouble making good cards with it. I do like this one though, I think the Kraft card stock helps sometimes, I never think to use it! I have also used Tangerine Tango which is another color that I am not very confident with, but it all seems to have worked out! Here is a close up of the sparkly froth and crystaly effected beer (I couldn't resist!)
And then on Monday I have not one but two of my nieces birthdays! They are not from the same side of the family and this can be tricky when it comes to birthday parties, but this year has worked out for us, luckily. This card is for my niece Ava who is turning 2, she is my special girl and she adores Elmo so I just had to put him on the card, but she is also a pink girl, so it was a little tricky to co-ordinate but I think it turned out ok...
And then Miss Logan wanted to "follow" my card and make one too. She is getting so clever with her card making!
I am so pleased to be able to find some time to stamp again, I was beginning to think I never would. So I am off to work soon, hopefully when I get home I get to make niece number 2's birthday card!

Great card's. I love the beer one as it's so hard to make a man's card. Trust you to bling up the beer froth. Ha Ha.

I'm thinking that maybe you should set up a blog for Logan. So she can show case her cards. Lol. Great card Logan. Keep up the good work.

Sorry Leonie - I think I prefer Logan's version - love those wacky eyes - LOL. No really - your cards are fabulous as always - it's great to see you found some time to stamp!
