House Warming Iris Fold

My friend and upline, Leanne just moved house on the weekend, so it was a perfect opportunity to try out the Iris Fold Technique without the help of Yvonne on standby! It was really easy and I think it gives such a lovely effect. You can find heaps of templates on this siteI didn't actually use Stampin Up DSP for the Iris Fold as I got a heap of patterned paper at a sale late last year and it is just sitting here collecting dust, I figure that it is not a bargain if it doesn't get used (and sometimes I really, really struggle to use our gorgeous DSP because it is just so pretty, I don't want to use it all up! lol!) I am going to do a workshop on this in a little while, so let me know if you are interested in coming (I promise to break out the Stampin Up supplies). And, "Good Luck to Leanne and Family in your new home, I wish you much love & laughter!)

PS, sorry that the photo is a bit washed out, it is getting dark here and it was the best I could do! The colors are Soft sky, pale plum and whisper white cs.

Great job Leonie! I love the idea of the house outline for your Iris Folding - your papers are very pretty and it's a good way to use up your stash and even little scraps of papers leftover from your scrapping or cardmaking.
Hope you do lots more!
