Color Challenge #32

I have been out of action for a few days and it felt so great tonight to sit at my table and make something cheery. Thanks Kristina for the inspiration :) I had fun making this card, trying to combine the white and vanilla was very tricky though. I have been wanting to make a shadow box card for a little while, so I checked out the tutorial on SCS and gave it a whirl. The silver embossed christmas tree is from Lovely as a Tree set, and was stamped onto very vanilla card stock, I added some torn scraps of sahara sand card stock for the "ground" . You can hardly tell from the photo, but I have sponged in an oval shape around the tree with saraha sand ink which IRL, created a little interest and more shadow. The sentiment, snowman & snow are all from the Snow Globe (retired) set, and I got to use my NEW CROPODILE to put the eyelets in the sides. I was going to thread through some white ribbon, but it looked a bit "too much", some silver cord would have been perfect, but I only had gold, oh well! TFL!
