Color Challenge #31

I would never have used these colors in a million years, I thought I didn't have most of the inks and was shocked to find them in my stash. I was thinking of a snowman, in a purple night sky... this is what I came up with! lol!
I went to Michelle Zindorfs site for some inspiration as I really needed some help to combine these colors and I found this awesome vase of flowers. She is so talented, if you haven't seen her tutorials, go and have a look, you will be surprised at what you can create by following her simple guides. She has a terrific knack for combining colors, creating shadows and spectacular backgrounds. I had so much fun creating this card, thanks to both Kristina & Michelle for the inspiration. On to the recipe:
Embrace life & Carte Postal stamp sets, so saffron, elegant eggplant, pumpkin pie & whisper white cs, all of the above color inks & markers, pumpkin pie & elegant eggplant ribbon, white gel pen, aqua painter & gold brads. Techniques included masking, water coloring, brayer & sponging.
And last but not least, I was doing some washing yesterday and as I was hanging it out, I was struck by a thought! Do you think this is what Cinderella's washing line looks like? TFL!

Isn't it funny how often what you have in mind is nothing like what you end up with. Happens to me all the time. Love your card.

What a beautiful card. I too get great inspiration from Michelle Zindorf's tutorials. I think you could also get inspired to create a card from the colours hanging on your clothes line - hope the ugly sisters are not around.
