Kristina Werner's Color Challenge # 24
So this is the first time I have participated in a color challenge, and a challenge it was. I love the colors in the challenge, but I have to say, I definitely go for the pinks and greens when choosing colors, browns and oranges are way out of my comfort zone. So I got out a sheet each of choc chip, pumpkin pie, old olive (no kiwi kiss in oz) and very vanilla and stared at it for a while, and then...It is very different from the stuff I would normally produce. I really like this tiled affect. Can you believe I used to try to achieve this look before I had square punches... Needless to say you wont find any examples of those cards on my blog. Anyway, I used stem silhouettes & brocade basics stamp sets, pumpkin pie & choc chip inks, paper in each color, small grosgrain old olive ribbon, misc choc chip ribbon, designer paper, brad and 1 1/4 square punch. What do you think?
