I have to say that I am not 100% happy with how the front of this card turned out. I was just playing around with my Birthday Best set because I have had it for a while and hadn't used it yet. I pretty much copied the design from the catty and added some rhinestone brads. I should have colored with crayon rather than pencil and I think the brads are over the top for what is a very simple card. Anyway, I was browsing SCS and I found a new tutorial on spiral cards, so what better way to spruce up my card than to add a bit of interest inside. It was sooo easy, you just punch out a circle, cut into a spiral, attach each end to the card and then embellish. I did so with the flowers from Birthday Best and a misc butterfly stamp. I cant wait to make some more of these cards. I am thinking Christmas cards with loads of snowflakes...stay tuned! Perfect plum, pale plum and very vanilla cs, certainly celery, taken with team, purely pomegranate & perfect plum ink, rhinestone brads, circle & tag punch and adhesive. Happy Birthday to my neighbour Emily who is the recipient of this card! Hope you had a great day at Uni and a wonderful year ahead:)
