Corset Card

This one was definitely made to order and I had soooo much fun making it. Our cousin Leah just had her 21st birthday yesterday and the theme for her party on the weekend is 'Pimps & Hoes' (a little riske' for us oldies but you know young folk these days!?!) so using her invites as inspiration (her invites were a pair of lacy undies) I came up with the idea to create this corset. I drew it on some paper to design the template cut the shoulders & bodice on the fold. I borrowed my uplines cropodile to do the eyelets (and now I just HAVE to have one too! LOL!) and I stamped using baroque motifs set with versa mark to try and create a lacy look. I sponged around the edges with bravo burgundy and popped up the centre of the bodice with dimensionals to give it some depth and viola...this fabulous creation.

I am very proud of this card because it was all completely my idea and my design and best of all, Leah loved it too. If you want to re-create it drop me an email and I will happily forward you the template, I couldn't figure out how to load it here.

I also created this little shoe for her pressie to slip into, which was very fitting because she loved shoes. Unfortunately I did not come up with this one on my own, it is completely cased from here on SCS. Oh and today I posted off my application to join Stampin Up as a demonstrator which is very exciting, but more on that later...tfl:)
