What a Fortnight!

The Hegarty Household has been a whirl wind of sick kids, sick Mum, dancing concerts, homework, school, doctors appointments and very little creative time I am sorry to say. Luckily I had something in the vault to share with you and let you know that I have not, indeed, left cyber space!
One of my favourite things I look forward to as a Stampin Up! Demonstrator is the Impressions Magazine we get sent each month, and after curling up on the sofa with it and a coffee I always try to make something from it. Last month they highlighted buttons, so the cards posted above were inspired by what was in the magazine. My favourite one in the one with the star, which isn't a button at all, rather a circle punched out with the double rectangle punched in the middle, a faux button!
And these two creations were made for my Husbands aunties birthday back at the beginning of October. I really, really love baja breeze with close to cocoa, it is one of my favourite colour combos! And a bagalope is a lifesaver when you need a good sized gift bag in a hurry, I have to say! Especially when you can co-ordinate it with a card.
Above I mentioned our house has been crazy! Well, my eldest daughter Logan was really unwell for about 9 days and finally came good this week, only to see my struck down for the day on Wednesday with some major stomach cramps. I had my follow up appointment at the Doctors today and noticed my little Matilda was a bit under the weather and ended up at the Emergency Room with her with a bad case of croupe! Aye, it is not our day! Week! Month! However, on a happier note, last weekend, little Miss Matilda had her first live performance with her Fairy Ballet class. They had a "practise run" at our local craft fair, their big concert is in two weeks. Matilda is the little one in the middle, so cute! I have to admit to being a bit misty eyed at seeing my baby on stage, and she did such an awesome job of it too!
Now, fingers crossed for a very, very uneventful weekend!

What beautiful little girls. I remember this time last year! Oh, I am sorry you were concerned about my fright. It was really nothing at all. Don't get onto hubby, it was really quite funny after the fact! Have a great weekend. Hugs to the girls. I will try and get Logan's birthday card mailed on Monday!
