Finally, I squeezed in some time to have a play with the soon to be released "Artistic Etchings" set that is in the new catalogue starting Sept 1. I have loved this set since I started seeing cards pop up on the US blogs, and as soon as I saw it in our pre-release, I knew I had to have it. I think I am getting the hang of the vintage look (sort of), I think it is my favourite kind of style in card making too. Anyway, here is the first thing I have made in ages:
I used all neutral tones, kraft, soft suede, river rock(new) and vanilla. And, speaking of new toys, I got a big new toy on Tuesday, check me out in my new wheels!
Zippy huh! Hope you week has been full of crafty lovely-ness (and hoping my weekend will be) Have a good one, toot toot!

Yes that is a beautiful card. Can't wait to have a play with that set. And the car is pretty cool too.
Fabulous Leonie! ...the card and the car!! TFS!
I love your card!! It actually overshadowed the car!! great set of wheels, too!~
Your card looks gorgeous Leonie, I'm loving everything vintage at the moment as well. How exciting, a new car!
What a gorgeous card, I love the colours, the effect with the En Francais script is beautiful and the ribbon is so pretty. Great new car too.

Beautiful, vintagey card, Leonie. The neutrals look fantastic, and I love the splatters (sorry, spritzing!!), the distressing, and the ribbon. You clever thing. How exciting to have a new car!!
