Just Add Vintage

I love the "vintage look" but I never can quite get it right, but I would like to keep trying so this was a great challenge to play along with. Here is my entry:
I used a stack of stamp sets, en francais, a kind word, baroque motifs, pocket silhouettes, inspired by nature...I think thats it? My colours are mostly very vanilla, basic black and creamy caramel. I apologise for the shadow but it is late in the day and if I leave it till tomorrow...well, then it starts to get crazy again and my post will never see the light of day! Hope you have had a great long weekend!

And on a non stamping note, my daughter Logan is participating in her schools Jump Rope For Heart program and reaising funds for the heat foundation. If you would like to sponsor her, she would appreciate it ever so much, she is so stoked that she has already raised over $100. Here is the link, anything over $2 is tax deductable too :)

The lace, pearls and collage effect make for a great vintage card. Thanks for playing at Just Add Ink.

I reckon you've mastered vintage with this beauty! I too love the look but find it hard to achieve - may pinch some of your ideas!!!

Wish Logan luck for me - have sponsored her with pleasure!!!

Wow. This is gorgeous. I think you've definitely captured a vintage look. I've always been afraid to try this look too, but I recently bought some Tim Holtz stuff at the craft store. He's all about distress, grunge and vintage so maybe you can experiment with some of his stuff. I've been trying and it's not so bad!!
