Scallop Corner Box

I am an avid follower of Donna's blog over at Butternut Sage Designs. She is so very clever, creative and most generous with sharing her ideas. She recently posted this amazing box on her blog, and I was lucky enough to have received a copy of the tutorial she has created. Today's was my first attempt at making this box. It didn't turn out too badly, but I think a little bit more practise is in need!
I also made the paper bow out of card stock rather than paper and it really does not sit as well as the paper ones do. Also, very rainy here today so I had to photograph inside, thus washing out the colours a bit! Anyway, all the excuses in the world huh? It really is quite a cute box, I just know I can do better! Thank you so much to Donna for a fabulous tutorial, it was really easy to follow. I do wish we had that snowflake punch in Australia though, it is fabulous!

I think it looks amazing Leonie, I couldn't even imagine making that bow with DSP let alone cardstock.
Thanks for gorgeous Christmas Card, it was a really lovely surprise and a nice personal message.
