Have I mentioned that I have been two 3 dancing concerts within 8 days? And, 2 of them went ran for over 3 and a half hours! The Joys! Anyway, on the last day of the girls dance classes I realised that I was a thank you card short for their teacher! Yikes! So I quickly drew up a template of a ballet slipper and turned it into a card, to go with the tap shoe chocolate holder! I am very happy with the end result:
And here is a couple of backstage snaps of my big girl Logan. She is pictured here with her friend Lily, they have been friends since they were in the womb, born 9 weeks apart (Me & Lily's Mum Sarah have been friends since we were 15 working at Hungry Jacks together) Logan is on the left
Aren't their costumes striking? Here, she is pictured with Lily and another friend Georgia. Her Mum is my upline, so of course, as well as being fabulous dancers, all three girls avid stampers and Stampin Up demo's of the future! lol! They were getting ready here for their finale and by this stage they had been backstage for about 7 hours:
They did such a wonderful job for a bunch of 5 and 6 year old, I could not have been more proud! I helped out backstage at the Saturday concert and got to see their performance on a TV screen, but have to admit to being a little misty eyed on Sunday when I got to sit in the audience. My heart was bursting with pride at seeing all of their hard work come together :)
