Cant Sleep...Post a Card or Two

Our netball team "Team Edward" played in our grand final this arvo. We were in front most of the game but couldn't hold on to our lead in the last quarter and lost by 4 goals. It was a great game, and a pity we couldn't hold on for 10 more minutes... anyway, after having birthday drinks for me on Friday night, birthday drinks for our cousin Tina on Saturday night, a kids party on Sunday (Happy Birthday Tara), followed by a very physical netball game, I ended up in bed at 6.45 tonight! But when my hubby came to bed 4 hours later, I woke up and cant get back to sleep! This is not going to be a good start to the week!

Anyway, I thought I would share this card with you, I made it a couple of weeks ago, just for fun, using one of my fav colour combos, choc chip, regal rose & close to cocoa. The dsp is called sweet always and the stamps are from birthday best & crazy for cupcakes. And this is the card I put together for the fore mentioned Tina. I rolled off some of these embossed images at Stamp Camp (thanks to Debbie and her travelling hubby getting his hands on it from the US). I cut it out, sponged a little pink over the top, then added the ribbon, sentiment from the Happy Thoughts set, a little punch work and a brad. This card came together in a matter of minutes. Philippa made something similar at Stamp Camp but hasn't posted it as yet. Anyway, hope you are in the land of sleepy dreams, and hope I am there soon too. Nigh night!

Isn't this such a great die. Try also using your finger dauber and putting on various color before you use the die. It creates some great results as well. My favorite combo includes the yellows and the corals! Great cards.
