On the 8th Day of Christmas in July...
my true love sent to me...okay, by now you must be getting sick of reading it surely (I am getting sick of hearing/typing/singing it, but only a few more days) Anyway, I made a pretty ordinary glitter window card a little while ago and have been determined to make a better job of it. So this card was born. I am still not 100% satisfied, I know I have something better just burning just beneth the surface, but so far, this is all I could come up with:It's cute enough, but I feel like it is just missing something. I like to use a lot of non traditional colours in my Chrissy cards, so it was fun to use pink this time. I don't know...I welcome any feedback you may have to make this card better, I really want to make a WOW using this technique and it is frustrating me that I have not done it yet! Merry Christmas in July:)

I think the colours are fabulous Leonie - it's great to see some non-traditional cards sometimes. The only thing I can suggest is maybe a bit of texture on the background, like thumping your stamp pad on - I LOVE that look???? But I'm sure it dazzles IRL and actually doesn't NEED anything!!

Hi Leonie! I favourited a similar card on SCS just last night. She used gold pen for the strings and bows of her ornaments. Maybe your ribbon is a liitle too overwhelming. You can find it at
