I am having one of the most productive weeks ever! The Cinema Saturday Challenge this week is the "Twilight" movie which just happens to be quite high on my most watched movie list lately (My girlfriends and I saw it 4 times at the cinema's) and over at Marelle Taylor's blog she set a challenge to use something from the catalogue as inspiration for a card. This here is a photo of a card on page 81.
One of the girls from our netball team "Team Edward" is turning 40 this Monday, so we have chipped in and brought her the set of Twilight books, so I used the gift/cinema saturday challenge as inspiration for the colors of her card and the card on page 81 for the layout! I still used the friends 24/7 set but a different image. I love how this card has turned out, and I think Janet will too.
And so, using the same colors & stamps, I came up with this cute little book mark to go with her books. So in 2 quick designs I have completed Marelle's challenge, The Cinema Saturday Challenge (Twilight) and Janet's card, wow - what a day.

Your Twilight card looks so crisp, clean and sophisticated. I like it! Great job!
I cased that same card today, before checking out Marelle's blog, and I too replaced the bird with the damask. Your card is lovely.
