I love my Boots!

I have an ulterior motive for creating this card, but I will share that with you at a later date... but for now I can tell you that I had way too much fun creating it!! DH is on night shift tonight so once the girls were in bed, I had the house to myself, no interruptions, and this is what I created...Cute huh? I really, really love shoes, and since having my girls I really, really miss being able to afford buying new shoes & bags whenever I want... but my girls are worth it :)
I drew an outline of a boot, then traced onto black card stock, cut it out and ran it through a cuttlebug (thanks Phil) to create a snake skin texture. I clear embossed it to give it a leathery look, than added a strip of black cs with hodgepodge to look like a buckle. So I had this fabulous boot and no idea how to make it into an interesting card when a thought popped into my head to try to make it look like a shoe box. I added a little tissue paper behind the boot for authenticity, and a Happy Birthday stamped onto tag punched cs, attached with gold cord.
