Busy Weekend

As usual for this time of the year, we had a very busy weekend, and Saturday was spent at Yvonnes house for her team get together! It was such a great day! We made a really cool iris fold card
& an origami box,
and Yvonne gave us a very sweet little box of chocolates. Um, at least, there were chocolates in this box at one stage on Saturday! Uploading these photos also reminded me that I had taken a photo of this cool notepad that Yvonne gave to each of her team members at the regionals in October. I thought it would make a great little gift idea for a teacher or something if anybody needed some quick, last minute inspiration. And being at Yvonnes gave us all a chance to peruse her awesome display of crafty ideas she has spent the last month creating. One of them that I came home and made straight away are these gorgeous and very handy box in a bag. They take no time at all to make, and are really quite sturdy, and they have come in very handy for all of the girls teachers gifts that have to go out this week. The photo is not the greatest as it was pretty late when I eventually finished them, but you get the general idea. And last, but certainly not least, it was my Dad's 50th birthday, and silly me, has been distracted by this little event they call Christmas, and had not got around to making his card. I am not all that confident with masculine cards, so I popped over to Michelle Zindorfs sight (see links) for some inspiration and found this card below. I am sure Dad will love it, and I managed to whip it up early Sunday morning.
There are so many projects here and I dont have the energy to list all of the details, however if there is something that you would like more information on, drop me an email and I will fill you in. Have a great day :)

Hi again - haven't been on for a while so have been checking out what you have been up to. Love all these creations - real mystery about the chocs LOL - bet your dad loved his card, it's fabulous!
I agree with you about non card makers (earlier post) and also when they don't even realise that you made it???
Also I am in the midst of making a stair fold card - have wanted to make one for a while - yours is lovely.
