Wow! Here I am in cyber space, not really knowing why and what I am going to say, and yet, here I am. I guess my main reason for creating this blog is my love of card stamping and in particular, Stampin up. I have gained so much inspiration and knowledge from other stampers blogs and web sites that I thought who knows, maybe I can give something back, and maybe I can learn even more from your comments.
Today was my nephews 3rd birthday and he has a fascination with the moon and stars so I created a really simple card for him on black card stock. I embossed some silver stars and glued on some silver star confetti and created a white moon using a circle punch and sponged on some silver ink. This was popped up on some dimensionals. The photo didn't turn out so great, but the whole thing came together really nicely. I am fairly new to embossing and I found that the silver embossing powder left a bit of a mess on the black card stock. Does anyone have a way I can avoid this?
All products are from Stampin Up except the star confetti. Basic black cs, Seasons of Joy and Pretty Princess stamp set, silver ep, silver ink, heat tool, circle punch, sponge and dimensionals.
